That's what it's all about!

So, here's how I figure it:

The Conservatives have two big supporters-

1. Big Business
2. The Christian Right

So, Big Business has two goals:
1. Work the everyday person as much as possible for a little money as possible.
2. Produce more products that the everyday person "has" to have so everyone in the household works as much as possible to afford those products.

Where does that leave us? Well, that leaves us with less family & personal time enjoy ourselves and each other... so what happens to quality time to enjoy life and help shape the next generation?

BING! Enter the Christian Right!

"Families are falling apart in this nation! Let us save you all! We will lead you to the path of rightousness... we will raise your children and give them our values."

Of course they will... we're all too busy working to make a few more $$ to give our families and loved ones the things that we've been convinced that we need... so let's just let the church shape the next generation.

The Christian Right is so concerned about people falling away from God and families, but a lot of that is due to the fact that Americans can't suddenly live on one income anymore! But they keep supporting the same political party that big business does, so this cycle will just continue.

Hopefully, this downward spiral of doom will eventually collapse in upon itself and make way for something saner...
